I have previously scanned my slides / negatives but now I get a 'Failed to save image' error in Photo Impression

This indicates that the Photo Impression program cannot save to the current folder that you have selected to save to. Before you press the 'Aquire' button, change the current save location to a different folder or drive on your computer then press the 'Acquire' button to start scanning -
