This error message will occur if you have other scanner or multi function devices connected or installed. Typically the software for these devices will run in the background which will then stop other scanner devices from being installed. Uninstalling the software for these devices before installing the PhotoMaker will fix this issue. Once the drivers for the PhotoMaker have been installed you can then reinstall the software for your scanner or multi function device.
