I keep getting a 'Failed to get image data' error when I press the acquire button

Please try the following - Plug the scanner into a different USB 2.0 port Go to Device Manager (right click Computer, go to Properties, click on Device Manager) Look for Imaging Devices Make sure there is OVT Scanner visible under Imaging Devices | |
