Why doesn't my media player doesn't recognize my Seagate hard drive?

This is a common issue with Seagate hard drives. They are formatted to GPT (GUID Partition Table) which only works on computers. Media Players will not recognize this.

To make it compatible with Media Player, please reformatted the hard drive using MBR (Master Boot Record Disk).
